Welcome to Lime Papaya

Lime Papaya runs your spa or medspa from one place: the calendar, online booking, your client list, checkout, two-way texting, and an AI receptionist that answers the phone. This article gives you the lay of the land, then points you at the five setup steps. Most spas finish setup in under an hour.

The lay of the land

The left sidebar is the main menu:

• Today. Your day at a glance: revenue, bookings, what's next.
• Calendar. Every appointment. Book, reschedule, cancel.
• Clients. Your client list and each client's full history.
• Messages. Two-way texting with clients.
• Services. Your menu: names, prices, durations.
• Staff. Payroll periods and commission plans.
• Inventory, Marketing, Reports. Stock, campaigns, and your numbers.
• Settings (bottom of the sidebar). Business profile, locations, staff invitations, consent forms, import, integrations, and the receptionist.

Across the top of every page:

1. The location switcher. It reads All locations until you narrow it to one.
2. The search box: Search clients, appointments, services.
3. New appointment. Book someone from anywhere in the app.
4. Help. This help center. Cmd-K on a Mac, Ctrl-K on Windows, from any page.

Set up in five steps

1. Set up your first location
2. Add your services
3. Add your staff and providers
4. Import your existing clients
5. Share your online booking page

Then run your first morning from the Today screen.

Example. Golden Coast Medspa signs up on a Tuesday. The owner adds the Santa Monica location, builds a 9-service menu, invites 4 staff, pastes in 412 clients from their old software, and puts the booking link in their Instagram bio. First online booking lands Wednesday morning.

Common questions

• Where should I start? The five steps above, in order. Each one sets up what the next one needs.
• Can my front desk see payroll? No. What each person sees depends on their role. You pick the role when you invite them under Settings, then Staff.
• Is my data locked in? No. Settings has an Export your data card; Download everything gives you one file with every client, note, gift card, membership, and future booking.

Good to know

• Run one location or ten. The switcher at the top filters every screen to one location or all of them.
• You can invite your team before your menu is final. Nothing here has to happen in a fixed order; the five steps are the fastest path.
