Day and week views
The calendar has two ways of looking at the same book: Day shows one day with a column per provider, Week shows seven days side by side. Same appointments, different questions answered. Day is "who's doing what right now"; Week is "how full are we".
Switch views and move around
- In the left sidebar, click Calendar.
- Use the Day / Week toggle at the top right of the header.
- Move with Previous, Today, and Next. In Day view they step one day; in Week view, seven.
Read the grid
- Every appointment is a chip: the client's name, the start time, and the services. A small dot on each chip tracks status, and a "Group" tag marks group bookings.
- In Day view, each bookable provider gets a column, so gaps in a column are open chair time.
- In Week view, each day gets a column. The current day's heading is highlighted.
- Click any chip to open the appointment. That's where confirm, check-in, reschedule, and checkout live.
Example. Monday morning the owner flips to Week to see Thursday running thin, then switches to Day on Thursday and sees the gap is all in one provider's column: two open hours between a 10:00 AM and a 1:00 PM.

Common questions
- Where did a cancelled appointment go? Cancelled appointments leave the grid so the slot reads as open. The appointment itself still exists; you can reach it from the client's record.
- The calendar shows the wrong location? The header names the location you're looking at. The calendar shows one location's book at a time.
- What are the hours on the grid? The grid runs the working day, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- How many are on the book? The count under the grid ("N on the book") tallies the view you're looking at.
Good to know
- The empty state is an invitation: Book the first appointment opens the booking form with that date filled in.
- Book a group in the header starts a group booking for the day you're viewing.
